On-Demand: Information Reporting for Tax-Exempt Bonds

On September 29, 2020, NABL submitted comments to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) on the instructions to Form 8038 and Form 8038-G. The current instructions for these forms include provisions that are ambiguous and inconsistent with each other and with published guidance, which results in differing interpretations and approaches to information reporting. David Cholst, Chapman and Cutler LLP, Matthias Edrich, Kutak Rock LLP, and George Magnatta, Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr LLP, will serve as panelists on the webinar to further discuss the instructions and NABL’s comment paper. Registrants will have the opportunity to ask questions and receive 90 minutes of CLE credit for participating.
